Pokémon Organized Play (POP) begins each new tournament season by removing older expansions from Standard format competition. The 2015 season starts on July 14, 2014, so players can get an early start on working toward the 2015 Pokémon World Championships. However, the rotation will not occur until September 3, 2014.

THE POKEMON 2015 STANDARD MODIFIED LEGAL CARD LIST

The Pokémon Standard Modified format for the 2015 season will consist of the following Pokémon Expansions:

BW09 PLF Black & White - Plasma Freeze

Additional expansions become legal for the standard format as they are released into the market.

Although this list is for the POP (Pokémon Organized Play) tournaments it also effects the Pokémon Online Play. Decks you build containing cards from expansions not on this standard list will automatically be classified in the online game as UNLIMITED. Although this has minimal effect right now in the online Pokémon Game, it is expected that the Pokémon staff will announce Pokémon Online Tournament Play in the near future and this modified Pokémon Tournament list may be the guideline for the online play also.
